Fishing Reports

Fishing is excellent on most area waters right now. The weather is warm, stream flows are manageable and bugs are popping, so get out there and enjoy it. We are booking guide trips now for the Fraser River, Colorado River, and the North Platte at Grey Reef. Give us a call now at 970.531.8213 and book your day of fishing!

Fraser River:
Fishing on the Fraser River is excellent, to say the least. We have been experiencing some great caddis hatches over the last couple of weeks. Green Drakes, Midges, and Yellow Sallies have also been seen on the water recently. Dry flies, nymphing and streamer fishing all have been producing fish.

Stream flows have been lower than average for this time of year. These conditions have provided us with outstanding dry fly fishing opportunities. Head up to the mountains and get your boots wet. The time to fish is here!

Colorado River:
The Colorado River has been fishing very well so far this summer. The Salmonfly hatch has come and gone but the river is still loaded with bugs that are ready to hatch. Dry fly fishing has been HOT on the Colorado the past week or two. Lots of bugs are hatching throughout the day and the fish are looking to the surface. We have seen Caddis, Yellow Sallies, Golden Stones, PMD's and midges all hatching during the last week.
